It is now 7:15PM (Eastern) and I just received todays (1/30) Question of the day. Great, right! WRONG!! When I brought it up I got the legendary ERROR notice that said I had already taken it. Hey, this is getting ridiculous!

I had the same problem. I got a TQOTD message this evening, but there was no question for me to answer and I got an error message. This after being timed out on TQOTD yesterday.

i got an e-mail on the 30th saying here is a bonus tqotd from 29th january (asi didnt get one) clicked on the link and got the error message

I tried to take my tqod, and I got the right answer. I had at least 10 seconds left on the time clock, and then the prompt said sorry, you exceeded the 30 second time limit.

It seems sploofus is less webtv friendly since the upgrade.

Day #4 No TQOTD again. Two days there was no question. The other days I tried to answer and got the error message that I had already answered. A replacement Q times out after i had answered it (incorrectly.) I know you will fix it, but I am "down" by three now - can I get them back? Thanks for your hard work. K

Missgeorge, that happened to me three times this week and I have cable. I think it is a glich and not our computers.

While this is annoying to all of us, I can't imagine the stress that the Sploofus team is going through.

Generally the service here is top notch and reader concerns are addressed promptly. I have no doubt that Sploofus is doing all he can to rectify.

Maybe I can be just a bit more relaxed because I am leaving this -11 blizzard for the Mexican Riveria tomorrow.

I was given a 'timer ran out' error on mine too - that is after it spun and spun and spun forever loading up the question.

I tried to enter a support ticket but Sploofus won't let you enter a support ticket now for the timer running out even though it was through no fault of my own AND I am running the latest version of Firefox.

I've had one TQOTD email, which brought up the error you've already taken it message, other than that my TQOTD box has been empty all week.

This is getting really bad. It took five minutes for my question to load. I picked the right answer, then watched the timer run out, and then take another five minutes to tell me that I had exceeded the 30 second time limit, and that I had the right answer.

Why can't the questions of the day be suspended until the bugs can get worked out on the server?

Justin posted in Hotwire today that the bugs will be fixed in 2 days - don't take them until then. On Saturday, we can check the Hotwire to see if he's given the go ahead
