On the twilight zone word puzzle, I plugged in the name of the episode that fit the number of letters provided. I picked no letters. There were like only 150 episodes from 59 to 64 I think. I then got a score for 99 words and this message: Cheating? Your account has been Auto-Flagged for TOU review. I was wondering, how did I cheat? Where are the terms of usage anyway? We are supposed to get answer in as few moves as possible, which I did. Each time you enter a guess it is 1 point, so I completed the quiz in 5 moves. This means that the majority of the phrases in today's word puzzle only have had one possible correct solution. I didn't have to guess letters because I used the process of elimination.

Send a message to sploofus and explain it - we were flagged once for NFL Teams for getting under 10 guesses. We found a great site for tonights except for one of our puzzles was not on the list so it took us a couple of extra guesses or we would have been under 10 also. Hope you get your points - good luck

I think it is now an automatic thing because several people have been cheating. They would take the test under a fake name membership. Then later, they would take it on a different computer after they knew the answers. Or, something like that happened. They'd get a low score & the next best one would be twice theirs.

This Twilight Zone one will get lots of low scores because there are only a limited number of episodes, and therefore correct answers. I got a 10 because I am a real fan of the show.

I prefer general topics, like Ten-Letter Words, instead of more specific topics, like Twilight Zone.

One reason is that specific topics can be pre-researched. Please note I am not accusing anyone of cheating here. I know that there are bound to be people with special expertise in certain topics (myself included). However, there are others who would research the topic ahead of time and have a list of possible answers at the ready in order to try to match up the blanks with their list. To many players, this is a form of cheating. Even if you do not regard it as such, it still detracts from the enjoyment of the puzzle, IMHO.

The other reason I don't like specific topics is that they tend to be culturally biased. For example, even though Word Puzzle is my favourite part of the site, I probably won't play the Twilight Zone one because it is an American television show that wasn't aired where I live so there's no way I'd ever get any of the answers except by hit and miss.

Roncon and Crocdd we understand that you were not cheating. However, I am working hard on building a better system that is smarter at identifying those that exploit and those that have legitimately done a good job. Hang in there... we'll iron out the kinks.

Thank You mr sploofus for the acknowledgment that you knw we did not cheat and good luck with improvising a system that works better. I undrstand th prcess is going to take time and do not mind waiting for something that is an improvement. I think you are doing a great job of running the site seeing that you are a 1 man team.

I too got flagged. I did it in 10 moves. Is 11 the cutoff or something? There are 3 scores of 11. Makes no sense.

Where is this puzzle? I just took the puzzle and it was Great Kids Games. Never saw a Twilight Zone puzzle.
