SUPER BOWL XLI

Just some random rambling:

C - Count
O - on
L - losing
T - the
S - Super Bowl.

And here's Jeff Foxworthy on Chicago:
If your local Dairy Queen is closed from September through May, you live in Chicago

If someone in a Home Depot store offers you assistance and they don't work there, you live in Chicago.

If you've worn shorts and a parka at the same time, you live in Chicago

If "Vacation" means going anywhere south of I - 80 for the weekend, you live in Chicago.

If you measure distance in hours, you live in Chicago.

If you have switched from "heat" to "A/C" in the same day and back again, you live in Chicago.

If you can drive 75 mph through 2 feet of snow during a raging blizzard without flinching, you live in Chicago.

If you carry jumpers in your car, and your wife knows how to use them , you live in Chicago.

If you design your kid's Halloween costume to fit over a snowsuit, you live in Chicago.

If the speed limit on the highway is 55 mph -- you're going 80 and everybody is passing you, you live in Chicago.

If driving is better in the winter because the potholes are filled with snow, you live in Chicago.

If you know all 4 seasons: almost winter, winter, still winter and road construction, you live in Chicago.(SO TRUE)

If you have more miles on your snow blower than your car, you live in Chicago.

If you find 10 degrees "a little chilly", you live in Chicago.

(I swear those are all true)

Less than 48 hours til Chicago can bask in the sunshine even though its -10.

Me. DA BEARS

I've said it before and I'll say it again. It's not a party until a police car burns!

If the Lions ever win it all the Detroit police will be back on horseback.

Less than 24 hours...suffice to say the entire town has the fever (myself included).

Whatever your thoughts may be about football...a milestone is going to be reached tomorrow...a milestone that I hoped would be reached in my lifetime, and has X2.
We have two African-American coaches in the "Big Game". I am tickled orange.

The strides they have made...both in terms of their coaching abilities and the avenues they have opened up...should at least be recognized.

DA BEARS...but whatever...congrats LOVIE AND TONY.

After the opening kick-off, Chicago was an em-Bear-assment.

No matter how you look at it, GROSSman is an erratic liability for the Bears. Chicago will probably be better off with someone else but will stubborny stick with him and make the same mistake Detroit did with Joey Harrington.

Maybe. But you gotta see the rain had something to do with it, it wasn't Grossman doing the fumbling.

Didn't both teams play in the rain? LOL! Grossburger IS Joey Harrington all over again. Well put Donden.

Sure both teams played in the rain, and both teams turned the ball over. It was a factor, is all I'm saying, and not the QB's fault if the ball carriers lost the ball. Nobody was going to look good against Manning this time. He had too much to prove and too much to lose.

Agreed. The victory was much deserved by the entire Manning family.
