I asked this question on the Newbie forum, but have had no replies. So I thought I'd try here.

Would someone please explain when one gets a sploofactor rating instead of N/A? In posts to other people's questions, I've read the answer "You have to take a certain number of quizzes" (without that "certain number" ever being specified). But I've been looking at some profiles, and there are folks who have taken half as many quizzes as I have, and they have a sploofactor but I do not. I thought the magic number might be 500, but some players have a sploofactor and have only taken 200+ quizzes.

This is not a complaint; I just want to understand the system.

I've never understood it myself so I'll be watching to find out the answer. Susan

Zeedee, if you check this posting by the brilliant Missashlee, you will see how the actual figures are derived:

Thank you, Linenlady, for taking the time to post. However, I have read Missashlee's in the past. It does a fine job of explaining how the sploofactor number is derived, but it does not tell me why I don't have one yet when other members who have taken fewer quizzes and have earned fewer points DO have a sploofactor.

I know everyone is tired of these questions, and I apologize for that. I just want to understand the system.

Thanks again.

I have no idea, but there's at least one person who has taken over 4,000 quizzes and does not have a Sploofactor yet either. Maybe it also depends on how long you've been playing, or it's just plain broken.

The sploofactor has not changed at all since we were told it was fixed. lol

By the way you also have to conside the time you spend on your quizzes.

Zeedee, I apologize for misreading your question. It would appear, however, that no one is familiar with why you have n/a for your sploofactor. I checked a few myself just to see and there doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason to when there's a number or an n/a. I'll bet Baggiob is close with his suggestion that time may enter into it. Perhaps you should put in a support ticket and ask the question. Justin the Great has to have the answer and I'm sure a lot of people would like to know.
