TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE FOR TRAVELER

I am getting ready to travel, and would like to access Sploofus while away, however, every time I've tried to access my account from computers other than my own, I can't get in. What is the secret?

You'll probably need to ask your ISP (internet service provider) that one - sometimes they lock down their accounts so they're only accessible through their own lines, or match an account to a specific IP address so it can only be accessed from that location.

Good luck!

You should be able to log on with any computer that is connected to the Internet. I have connected on a number of computers in different states. As you observered the problem was probably because of the server change over.

My brother is often on at my house, and I am often on at his. Taking the laptop and hanging out at Beaner's or other coffee shops is technically foreign, but no problem.

The more I think about it, especially after hearing of your successful access away from home base, the more I am convinced that my problem will only re-surface if there's a server change out while I'm on the road.

Many thanks to all who provided your insights, words of wisdom, and encouragement.

Over and out...

In fact, if you can get to your TQOTD, you *are* in Sploofus - just click on one of the other menu items after answering your question and off you go!

I thought you meant you couldn't get online at all, not just Sploofus!
