ANY AND ALL COMPUTER EXPERTS - I NEED SOME HELP, PLEASE!

Last night I installed an add-on from Mozilla Firefox called "Smoothwheel". Dummy me thought it would make the mouse wheel faster or smoother. However, it makes your screen scroll at different speeds and spacing. It actually hinders me in playing wordrounds and wordmatches. Other than that, it may be a fine thing for just regular interneting. My problem is, I want to uninstall it, and don't know how. It doesn't appear in my "Add & Remove Programs", on my "desktop" on in any of my program listings. I can't find anything to right-click on or remove it because I'm not sure where it is stored. When I installed it, it just had one screen to install, which is a lot different than other things I have installed or downloaded.

Is there anyone out there on the Island who can help me, PLEASE!!!!!! All help will be greatly appreciated. I had just started getting some speed in the wordrounds, and now it seems I'm at a standstill.

PLEASE HELP!!!!

Thanks,
Marilyn

From the Firefox menu, go to Tools, then Extensions and find it there. You might be able to change the settings under options to make it work better for you. If not, you can uninstall it.

Thank you so much, Bren!!! You have made my day! I followed your advice, uninstalled, restarted the computer, and it's finally gone. I was up 'til 2:00 a.m. googling, trying to get rid of it! Thanks again, and have a great day!

I love Firefox! This add-on was just not what I needed. I have been in the control panel and made different adjustments to the mouse. Thanks for your response!
