Hello all. A friend hauled me in for a quick play trivia question of the day and I ended up sticking around to explore more Sploofus parts is parts. (We bad pennies have a way of doing that when not engaged in serious thought purchase.) Anyway I just crafted my first quiz and saw that I’m more than 200 down an editorial review list. How will I know if my quiz passed the screening bit or got tossed into the muck bin for one reason or another?

Colour me curious in Carolina….

They don't just get tossed in the muck bin. If there is a problem with your quiz that does not allow it to be posted as is, the quiz will be returned to you, with an explanation of what changes need to be made for it to conform with Sploofus requirements. You make those changes, resubmit it, and the quiz quickly goes to the same editor who reviewed your first quiz, and hopefully they can approve it.

If you haven't already, consult the Sploofus Quiz Author's Guide (SQAG), to see the standards required for quizzes on this site.

Thanks muchly. As for the guidelines: been there, done that. I usually at least glance over the instructions manual before resorting to a more hands-on trial and error approach -- too much a stickler for detail to fly totally by the seat of my pants.

I'm finding this to be a great place to play, maybe learn a thing or three.

Welcome, Evan, love your profile! Congrats on your first quiz!

I can tell from the way you write and the way you throw yourself into things, you're gonna LOVE it here! I look forward to getting to know you, and I wish you the best of luck.

Thanks for the warm welcome, Donna, I love it here already. It's appealing to toss a challenge at the grey-that-matters on a routine basis.

Great quote from your profile. Simplisitic yet loaded with content. Oh...and you've also described my music collection: eclectic as hades. Pretty much anything flies except rap, the heaviest of metals, and the most twangy bluegrass.

Those are beautiful pictures in your profile. Welcome. You seem to be just odd enough to fit in here perfectly!

Those were taken along the Blue Ridge not far from Asheville, NC, Aslan. Beautiful country.

As for being odd enough to fit in, I'm enjoying the ride. Muchly.
