Can this really be true? While the" Salty Dog" has managed to generate over 26,000 messages since inception, this category has mustered only a little over 500. What are we to do? Can "Quiz Requests" be saved? And, most importantly, what should we request?

The only problems with this forum are: that:
A: Free members cant request quizzes. If BBSC could be modified to allow FREE members to post JUST to that board, then I think it would grow quickly. Of course New Free members would have to be educated on the matter...... And, of course, Happy Free Members, like I was in February become Happy Paying members....
B: It has been my (relatively short) experience that most paying members write quizzes. Therefore, if they have an idea for one, they'll just write it themselves.

yep-"original" topics hard to come by-if I think of one within my knowledge or research capability-write it myself. Looking way back-baring new songs, movies, disasters, political upheavals- most quizzes are reworked from the past-some I write am unaware that they have previously been written-different wording but firmly believe they have-Linda

Original topics are not hard to come by if you think about it enough. Every single person on this site could easily write a quiz about something that no one else has ever done.

You do have a point. Using the search engine, I found that there are, for example, no quizes on artichokes, only one on Famous Rabbits and only one on Dangermouse (I wrote it--Ha!). Much work is still to be done.

We could push this for an upcoming CQ: A UNIQUE experience.
