I am not a big fan of religion, but I know there are many people who are. I wouldnít mind taken religion quizzes (even though I know none of the answers) as long as it was well rounded including many different religions. Philosophy would be nice to add to it. I just donít get why people have to be so sensitive about religion. It would be a question nothing more and if you dislike it that much you would not have to answer it. I think we should have a poll asking people who want to keep religion and who donít. Majority rules, it would be the fairest solution in my opinion.

A World Religions and Philosophies category would be "kosher" to me. :D

I am not a fan of the Bible trivia category, however, since it is fairly exclusive to non-Christians.

Violet, dear, you know I am a big fan of your quizzes, but you could say that about any category. Sports is exclusive to sports fans, movies to movie fans, history to dead people, etc. We all have different interests here, so to exclude one or two categories because some people won't know anything about them seems prejudicial to me. It's not logical.

Everyone needs to be careful how they refer to the category. It was a BIBLE category removed, not a RELIGION category. I can understand having a Religion category and making everyone have the questions. That would be fair. That would be equvialent to the Sports example mentioned above.

But the Bible is only a small part of Religion. Using the same analogy, a Bible category would be like having a Baseball category. Does that make sense?

I would agree that Religion quizzes would be fine, but Bible quizzes are a whole different can of worms. My logic being that the Bible...may be factual to Christians, to those that follow the Koran or those that are Jewish, it is not "fact" to them.

On the other hand, who won the Superbowl last year, or Tom Hanks movies is factual and not subject to interpretation.

Just my two cents.

I know things about my Bible. I know very little about "Religions". I do not care to know. I think that is why it was called by the title Bible trivia. If it were for Muslims, it would be called differently; if it were for Jews, it would only include the Old Testament; Buddhas - do they have a book?, etc. When you compare Philosophy and Religion to the Bible you are talking about different subject completely.
