WORLD AFFAIRS OR HISTORY

The Nov. 19 daily question title was world affairs but the question seemed, at least to me, to be more of a historical nature. I mean, a ninth century Chinese dynasty is no longer part of world affairs. butchtriv

Was this in the World Events catagory? Because I would think that events that happened in the past would fit in this catagory or under Potpourri.
BTW: Did you learn something new? If so, then wonderful.

not to belabor the point, but I still seems to me that world events that occured in the past are part of history, and present events are just that, world events. I realize today's schools are getting sloppy, but....
