I've noticed that my quiz times are better in the evening, when it's not busy, than during the day. Perhaps I'm smarter at night, but I don't think so. I'm not good at computer lingo but I'm running windows Xp, my internet is dsl through Telus Canada (phone company) & my computer is 1 yr old & a good one (can't remember the details). Do you think it's my system or something that will resolve itself after Beta gets up & running? Please don't get too technical with your answers or my head will start to swim.

I think the Sploofus servers work faster when less people are on. I find that I get better results when I play late at night also. I am in Arizona, and I notice a lot less names on the "now playing" list, and much better times for my playing, when I play around 10 PM - midnight MST.

The Toledo Blade has a daily trivia feature with 7 questions. My wife and I do these every three days. When we do them in mid-morning our scores are much better than when we do them in the evening. Our target is 11 out of 21 and almost every time we fail is at night. I realize that the mention of these facts is trivia itself but to me it means that if I stay up late I will turn into a complete idiot.
Onward and upward!

I love that you & your wife do quizs together, my husband & I play scrabble blast on MSM. You've got a valid point, I think a person should do better early in the day. That's why I think it's some kind of access problem. I get a lot of lag time when it's busy.

I'm sure it is a fact that the more people on a website will cause it to slow down. The big boys like cnn, cbs, nbc etc must really have powerful systems!
