Does anyone know of an old western from the 50s, possibly early 60s, one of those wide screen technicolor films shot on location in Utah or someplace that looks like it, with an incredible earthquake scene that lasts for what seems like 15 or 20 minutes? I happened across it while channel-hopping a couple years back and only saw that one scene. Seems like Native Americans were in it, but I never caught any of the actors or the name of the film. I'd love to get it for my hubby for Father's Day if I can only find out what it is I'm looking for.

Geez, that sounds like MacKenna's Gold.

After checking it out on imdb, I think you may be right on! Later than I thought, which may be why I was having trouble finding it.

Thanks, Steve!

The only movie I've ever seen with a theme song dedicated to a turkey buzzard....
