Happy Mom's Day! So far, I got a cherry tree and an apple tree to add to the orchard. Mr. EBJ is cooking breakfast. The weather is kinda crappy - cloudy, sprinkling off and on. Last year we spent this day in the boat up on the lake. I have promises of dinner somewhere special tonight. Which means I have to actually put on clothes and fix my hair - a very difficult task for weekend Lodi.

I hope all moms out there are as lucky as I am.

There is nothing as special as a Mom. They deserve so much more than only one day to honor them. Love ya Mom! Have a great Mother's Day!

Happy Mother's day to all moms.

Oscar Wilde said: “All women become like their mothers. That is their tragedy. No man does. That's his.”

I have no idea what that means.

One of the best presents a MOM can get is when her daughter (or son) finally comes to her for help with the grand child. These words can not be beat ... "Mom, I don't know how you did it."

Happy Mother's Day to all on Sploofus isle.

The greatest compliment that I have been given by all three of our children, is when each one of them, independently of the others, told me that they had every intention of raising their children the same way that I did them. Now granted, they did not say that when they were 16. Teenagers have very little sense. I will always treasure that though because it did sincerely come from their hearts. Best gift a mother could ever receive.

Thanks, Lodi, and Happy Mother's Day to all mothers, and special prayers to the mothers who don't have all of their children home, and the mothers of soldier boys.
