VOTE ON QOTD MIGHT BE A BIT SKEWED

There might be one flaw in the vote. Many people voted before Sploofus said they would be able to opt out of a catagory.

I have a feeling that might have changed some votes for some people. Some people might have voted for a catagory to remain if they knew they still had the option to opt-out of that catagory.

I voted before I had read all the chat and saw how passionate some people were...I would certainly have voted differently if I had read people's opinions first! I just voted for the categories I like...not realizing it would be so devastating for others.

Sorry but I don't know where you are coming from. The point about voting is to give a personal opinion so that Sploofus gets a proper cross section of preferences.

Just my opinion

Dizzy:

Let's say John did not want to have to do any Bible (or any other specific subject) Questions Of The Day (QOTD). When we first started the vote, everybody was going to have to do QOTDs on every approved subject. John would have probably voted against Bible questions.

Later, Sploofus said we would be able to opt-out of the catagory we did not like (Thank you, Splooflus). Now John will not have to do any Bible QOTDs. So, he might vote for them so other people who like them would get to do them.

This pains me to say so: I agree with Phil.

Sploofus, can you please just do another poll to satisfy everyone?

Sorry phil & felix

It was my impression that Sploofus was trying to get input from the whole population. In this respect it would make sense for each member to provide their own opinion irrespective of the possible impact on others. Majority rules, otherwise we are in danger of a cabal situation
