HELP FOR A 'NEWFUS'

Hi, I've had a PM off a new member:

'Can a non-paying member place wagers and start showdowns?'

I wasn't brave enough to do either in the early days of my membership, when I was a non-paying member, so am not quite sure and want to give the right advice.

I believe you can use wager tokens and do showdowns only for a limited number of levels (maybe 3??). After that, you have to pay to continue to use them. I couldn't find the exact level listed anywhere.

These are the reasons to pay the 14.95 for six months, see below. Note: wager token system. Anyway, one problem is that you can write to a player when you take a quiz ... but not whenever you wish until you pay. Please feel free to write me or anyone when you take a quiz. Maybe we can persuade you to join the fun for $30 a year. That is less than 9 cents a day, the price of one/half a cigarette, three potatoe chips, or a swig of diet coke. Everyone should be paying then the system will work better. If I had to, I would cut out a beer a week and be ahead. I know that some people have less disposable income that others, but to me this is the bargain of the international network.

There is a short time in which a new member is allowed to place a trivia wager. There is no limitation on show downs.
