QUESTION FOR THE EDITORS RE: HARRY POTTER BOOK 7

I assume that once the book hits the stores, people will start writing quizzes. Is it possible to check the quiz titles for spoilers? I am a very slow reader and do not wish to deduce from the NEW quiz names of what will happen in the book. At least for a week or two. I will not take the quizzes until I finish reading, but some titles on the quizzes page can give away some important information, Please keep it a secret.
Thank you.

Your request has been noted by the editors, and hopefully by the quiz-authors as well!

I was going to ask who would put a spoiler in the title of a quiz, but then I guess I can imagine someone not considering it a spoiler. Something along the lines of: "How can you not have read the book already? If you were a fan you would have already, and if not you don't care anyway." (For the record that excuse doesn't fly. Lots of people like the books and don;t want it spoiled even if they don't take off work just to read the newest one as soon as it comes out.)

I drove by my local Barnes & Noble today and there was a long line stretching out the door. Should I assume that was a line of people hoping to get the latest Harry Potter? Because I doubt that many people all thought it was an Apple store and thought the iPhone came out today.

The line is strange.. the two B&N i have books reserved at are employing a methos of giving out arm bands/reservation cards this evening to give you a # for when you can actually make your purchase...But the I phone came out a few weeks ago.. so there must be weirder fans out there than i

Furthermore, at least one editor has expressed an unwillingness to edit next week for fear that a quiz might come up with an unwanted spoiler within. Some of us want to read the book too.

So if the quiz queue starts getting long again, put the blame where it properly belongs: on the shoulders of J.K. Rowling.

Speaking of long lines for the iphone (and pwnage) did you see the vid of the woman who paid $800 to be the first in line so that she could buy a BUNCH of Iphones and resell them on Ebay?

Yeah, I put a quiz in as soon as I finished the book (around 8:45am on Saturday), and I noted that only people that have read the book should take the quiz. I forgot about my poor editor. Sorry Sploofalina!

No problem, Emi. I'm one of the two in the universe who are not overly concerned. I did check your description, though to be sure that it indicated that those who hadn't read it should go no further. I think if the quiz writers keep that in mind for the next few weeks, it should spare any premature despair.

Can you believe that while at an event today at Michigan International Speedway with some 160 other Mazda Miata enthusiasts who were going to run on the track, I was the only one reading Harry Potter #7? Luckily my husband was driving.
