Don't worry - this is not a query into the hows and whys!
I've not long recieved an E.A. for a quiz - whether it deserved it or not, I still got one! So far it's had twelve takers...
This is by no means a gripe, I'm just curious as to the lowest number of takers that an E.A.'ed quiz has recieved.

I got an EA on July 8, and it has been taken 34 times.

If you are referring to your "Ambassadors of Scotland" quiz, I know I had skipped it because I thought it sounded difficult on a day I happened to be looking for lighter fare. (Unfortunately, many Americans know very little about Scotland I'm ashamed to say--including me.)
And then, when it fell off the "Most Recent" list, I forgot about it. Sometimes I miss seeing quizzes altogether because they happened to launch at a time that many quizzes were launched--pushing the one I've missed right off the list even though it was quite new.
It was a bit difficult for me. I got 50%, and yet I am #6 on the list of takers. Right now, the top score is 70% and then there are two 60s and two other 50s ahead of mine.
For anyone whose interest has been piqued, the quiz is NOT about career diplomats as the title might imply. It is an interesting and well-written quiz about a topic other than American movies, TV, and popular songs.

It now has at least one more, and a damfine quiz it is!

I meant to take it days ago but somehow got distracted and forgot, and then it was gone so fast. Well done, Martin, it deserves much better.

I remember giving an EA to a quiz on New Zealand place names that had takers in the low single digits. It WAS very specific, but it was well done.

Well, Lare, I'm of Scots descent and I had to guess 10 times

I think the quiz is poorly named, it should be called "Famous Scots" or something...

My first quiz was named "Historic Forteana" and nobody knew wtf I was talking about so I added "Unsolved Mysteries".

I have had one that had only 7 takers for almost a year, then it has changed. Now it is at about 20 after 2 years. There are lots of people on the site that mostly interested in the TV/entertainment questions, so they will never take those types of quizzes even if they had an EA. But there always be people that appreciate your efforts. Good luck!

My quizzes, whether EAs or not, have ranged from 20-odd to almost 1000 takers. It has much more to do with getting on the Most Popular Board. Once you get on there, you have it made. But I put my latest quiz under Technology and what a bust! Something like 7 takers. I thought since we are all on computers--duh!--that we would have a lot of technology people.

Another issue. My "Words That Only Sound Dirty" quiz showed over 1000 takers when it was on the Most Popular board. But now when I click on "Your Quizzes, it shows only something over 800. Has anyone else had this experience?

Most of my EA quizzes have been pretty successful, but my first one ever was "Do you remember Cherry Ames?", and I guess no one did, because it only had 23 takers. And it is really, really old, but I guess I am waaaaay older.

Cherry Ames, for those young 'uns without a clue, was the Nurse Heroine of a series of "books for girls" back in the day.

Hey, Alice! I remember that quiz, so I must be one of the 23. It was fun. I had read a couple of those books "back in the day" -- WAY back in the day. It brought back memories of Trixie Belden, too.

Thank you all for your replies.
I was going to ask another, similar question but see that Tuzilla has beaten me to the punch in another thread!
