CELEBRITY ENDORSEMENTS...

A large part of my day job consists in categorizing playbills and programmes from Edinburgh theatres - some of which date back to the 17th century.
Just come across an advert in one from 1886 -

"Steinway & Sons'
Pianos
'The new Steinway Grand is a glorious masterpiece in power, sonority...affording delight to even my old piano-weary fingers' - Franz Liszt

'...A Beethoven Sonata or a Bach Chromatic Fantasie can only be fully appreciated when rendered upon a Steinway Pianoforte.' - Richard Wagner"

I guess those guys would know!

You have the coolest job in the flippin' world. I'd do it for free, I quiver with envy. Are you in the same building where the Knots and Crosses killer worked?

I didnae ken it! I MUST have it! Gonna look on eBay - it's GOT to be on DVD. If only I don't run into that regionalized crap. Took me FOREVER to get hold of a bootleg copy of Restless Natives that would play here.

Umm - buy a UK region player and stick a 110 volt two-pin plug on the end? Might be cheaper in the long run.
I think you can get multi-region players, but I've never cared enough to find out where from.
By the by, Ken Stott is a MUCH better Rebus - but we can have that conversation later...

Smoke, I just checked Amazon.com and all 10 episodes mentioned on Wiki are available there - just search DVD for 'Rebus' and the three results that come up are the ones you want.

'Course, it's up to you to make sure they're the right region before buying!!
