Family Feud Style Survey For Dyenamite’s Upcoming Quizzes

You've heard me talking about it and now it's Launch Time!

Please choose any or all of the following topics and write down the FIRST response only that you think of when you read each question. Please do ALL 10 questions in a topic, not just pick your favourite questions from each one. When you are done, message your responses to my PRIVATE MESSAGE. Do not post answers here or they will be void. Sorry. Post a comment if you like but please no direct reference to any of the survey responses.

Once I receive a certain amount of replies for each topic I will close off the survey and start converting the data to quizzes. (Still unsure of which format I will use) Those who have supported this idea from the start, I will reserve a spot for your replies if you posted a comment in the chat forum. But don't dilly dally, ok?

Send through results for different toics in more than one session too, if you like, but please only attempt each topic ONCE - subsequent attempts will also be void.

Have fun and thanks for all the keen interest and support. Kind regards, Rick

No need to click anything. Just grab a pen and paper and read from my original post. Record your answers for as many topics as you like (All 10 questions for each topic please) Then simply send your responses to me in a private message. Put a heading on each set of 10 so that it's obvious which topic you are answering. Thanks

Hope this helps

One more thing ... It will probably help a LOT if you can please save your messages with your responses after you send them to me, as my i'm sure I will run out of space if I try to keep them ALL!? (You can tell that, although a great deal of time, thought and effort has gone into this project - I did rush to get it out there. Oh well!) If you need me to resend you your original message so that you can save it, please let me know. Anyone taking the survey from now on, don't forget to save a copy after you send it to me. Thanks

If you are sending single messages for each topic, put "Survey-Topic" (eg Survey-Sport) in the subject field. Not asking for much am I?

So that I can get 100 takers as quickly as possible, tell all your sploofus buddies to get on board. When the survey is all over I'll think of a way to post the spreadsheet somewhere with all the results. At the moment I have sploofus ID's to identify who answered what, so before I publish this somewhere can you let me know if you want to have your id entered or remain anon.

You could copy this list, then paste it into your reply box to Dyenamite, then type your answers next to each word. If you want to save this list, then you could copy into a Word document. (just a thought...I'm lazy)

My answers to all are on the way in 2 parts also, and stated as such in the subject line of message. Good luck Rocco

What's a palidrome???

Hi, Cathy,

A palindrome is when a word (or phrase) says the same thing whether you spell it forward or backward.

Example: Anna

I would give my favorite phrase as an example, but I used it on the survey.

Those are hysterical, Ken.
If you didn't have a favorite palindrome, already, you could pick one from that video. Leave it to Weird Al!

I think Dyenamite wants you to name your favorites (see his list at the top), then PM him with your answers. He'll then create quizzes from the compiled answers.
I think the easiest way to do this is to copy and paste the list into a PM, type your answers next to each line, then send PM to Dyenamite.
(I hope you were asking a process type question, and not something else...)

Thanks for that Pep! That's really the ideal way for me to do it! Never mind for you ... Its SOOO much easier to read back through your answers and record them on the spreadsheet if they are in the same order as the survey. Ta

Thanks guys once again. My eyes are going square from entering all that raw data into excel. Up to 48 takers so far so I can either keep it going for a week and see how much more interest we can generate, or I can cut off each topic at 50. You know I want 100!

Hey, I heard back from the support team and it seems the editors have been discussing this idea of mine. They wanted me to know that it's a great idea and they are discussing ways of making it it able to work. Keep you posted when they get back to me. In the mean time ... Spread the word (and good cheer)

Thank you

I think you should do it however you want, but it would be nice to have a true 100 survey. Maybe refresh the thread in Salty Dog as well, because a lot of people only sign in a few times a week. Thank you for you effort I am sure it will be lots of fun. Rocco

Yes I agree, a true 100 survey is much better than a survey of 50 and double responses to get a % Can people please refer others to take the survey and I will no doubt get the other 50 in no time. If you all tell one person that didn't know about it, we will get there from a great height. Post threads of your own? Thanks guys
Kind regards

Thanks so much guys. Anyone new wanting to send in responses, please do all 6 topics to ensure you make the cut. Those who did not try all 6 can you please try the ones you missed? Thanks. Survey now closed in food and bev UNLESS you are sending all 6 topics for the first time. Should see a few quizzes in a week or 2. Thanks everyone!
