WHAT IS YOUR WEAKEST QUIZ YOU HAVE AUTHORED?

Just wondering, maybe if we discuss, we can have more people trying them out.
Mine is Made In Canada Pt2.
Its still fairly new but not racking up the points. I think 6 people attempted it and it got pushed into the black hole.
I am curious if you think it was just bad authoring on your part or if it just got lost in the mix.
Let us know and we can try them out!!

I am pretty pleased with my quizzes though I definitely think my newer ones are better than my early ones. I definitely put more thought into writing well-constructed questions now.

I only had 5 takers on a recent quiz on the 90s show 'thirtysomething'. I had a few takers write to tell me they liked it (and it's rated a wonderful 8) but it got bumped really quickly-- into the abyss. :D

I guess my least own favorite quiz was one on fashion trends of various decades. I meant well, but it was written in haste and could be redone a lot better.

Strangely enough, the one I have the fewest takers on, yet the highest rating, is "Guinea Pigs". My Circus/Carnival one had very few takers, and rated crappy, and that's the one I have messages about my facts being wrong. (but they're not!)I get messages about how good or how difficult mine are, but not so many takers, and not good ratings.

I have a quiz, Left Behind book series, with only 8 takers but a decent rating of 7. It has been around for about 2 months. I don't seem to have many very popular quizzes. Oh well, I have fun making them anyway.

Hi Citrusy,

I took both "Made in Canada" quizzes and did like both. I'm not sure there's a good answer on how exactly to write a question that provides enough clues to an obscure answer. Do you make the wrong choices so blatantly wrong that no one would pick them? I've tried that and am still shocked sometimes that people picked them anyway. Do you give give clues in the wording of the question to lead people who pick up on the clue to one particular answer? I usually try to do this and it seemed like on some of the questions you were, too. One question I got wrong because your clue about going into the ditch made me think that another of your choices was more fitting than the real answer. And then on some others there were no clues, so it came down to pure guesses, which is fine if you're narrow-casting your quiz to just people who think they know your subject. But for people who don't know the subject, that can just be frustrating. It's a tough balance that I know I haven't really reached, trying not to dumb-down my quizzes, yet making them enjoyable for the quiz-takers.

But as for my weakest quiz, I think that my second to last quiz "Odd-servations" didn't come out the way I wanted. It took me like a month to write (off and on) and I was just happy to get it done, but then, sort of wished I had held onto it, perhaps scrapping the whole thing. The tone is too inconsistant, some questions are jokey, others more angry-rantish. Actually, I would like a way to be able to delete a quiz.

Well My lowest overall scorer has to be my "driving quiz"
My lowest rating is on my "10 more poker hands" Probably because I tried to put more into my description than the actual quiz due to the fact that I had wild cards in it. That one tied with my "Las vegas casinos" FITB.
My lowest amount of takers has to be my "Hebrew alphabet" not surprisingly lol.
but my personal least favorite is definately my "pasta" quiz ont try it its boring! (Yawn)

Mine would have to be my Pecan Day Quiz. All about fascinating pecans - lol! I didn't think it was that bad (average rating is a 7.0!) - only 4 takers though.

"American to Australian Revisited" was a disappointment after the first'un did well, and so many folks asked for another'un.

My worst is Prince Edward Island Trivia with an outstanding 6 people taking it. My rating is a 7, which is not too bad.

My weakest quiz was on "The Popes." What a dumb idea!

My quiz with the fewest participants (14) is also the one with the highest rating (7.5), it's called "Vegetarians"!

Check it out ;o)

My worst is probably the one on Monopoly Squares.

My recent quizzes are tough so they dont seem to be rated high but oh well.

My quiz with the fewest takers was on Roman Holiday with only 7 takers! I liked the movie a lot, but I guess it got lost in the shuffle, too. I have taken to taking quizzes of the people in the leaderboards who are #100 for Quiz Authoring to give the underdogs a boost. It is pretty cool to see them boomerang up closer to the top!!!

My "Where is the ARt" is getting pretty few takers, as well is my "Oingo Boingo Trivia" and my quiz on "Louise May Alcott." I enjoyed making them, so no problems here.

What I find strangely ironic is that on the quizzes that I do the most work on, I get the fewest takers.

I did a quiz on Cure lyrics that hasn't been taken much...I should have guessed when my Smiths quiz didn't have a lot of takers either, but it was so fun to make.
I was trying to use 'hits' and not obscure songs...but maybe it was too difficult still...or maybe there just aren't many fans here.
I love the lyric quizzes I've taken though, (more than the fill-in type) so I'd like to make more...
