Okay, I'm coming around to how someone could have a really low number in word puzzles. I just got a 36 (10th place), but was pretty close at guessing some without any moves.

Then again, I could never get below 29 in the wordrounds...

I remember getting a 5 a long time ago on NFL teams. If you are familiar with American football, then what else could - - - - - - - - - - - - x - - - - - - be other than Philadelphia Eagles? And so it went. I had 5s on a couple Rhyme puzzles where the clues were pretty explicit. With - - - - - x - - - - - and a clue like Tiger's property, Woods Goods is not that tricky. On the other hand, I do scratch my head at scores occasionally.

As someone who has not broken ten on the rhyming puzzles i can say with certainty that getting them in five is not only possible but long as you get the right five puzzles to suit your own idiosyncratic brainwaves.
I've had four out of five gimmes more often than I couls day; then the fifth beats me all ends up!
I'm still waiting for the stars to come into alignment and deal me the magic hand!
