does he hear voices in his head, or barking?

I don't know, but in my experience (with MY crazy dog) whatever he's hearing seems to be coming from under his dogbed or the cushions on the couch or the pillows on our bed. Whenever he sees something cushion-y, he starts digging under it and puts his head down under it and rolls on his back with his paws swimming in the air.

You asked.

When my dogs are crazy, I think they hear the word "Dammit" a lot. So does everyone else in the house though.

Robin, I loved the photos of your four-legged friends on your profile page. But I really would like to see a photo of your 'crazy' dog as described in your post .. in that particular position of course. It sounds like it is probably quite funny.

The really crazy ones hear Morris Albert singing "Feelings" over and over and over again.

Hey Lodi....your dog must be a delicate soul....
All the dogs I ever owned reacted strongly to
the F*** and S*** words only....

Actually, my dogs have heard them all. But most of the time, all I have to do is give them "the look." I've never experienced it but I hear its horrifying.

Actually, dogs, like many zoo animals, can suffer extreme boredom and depression. This can turn into obsessive compulsive disorders like marathon pacing, incessant barking and other bizarre behaviors.

House cats are immune to this because their brains are strictly ROM, and lack any RAM storage space.
