Anyone having to wait for support ticks to be handled? I've had one in for a couple days with no response. I a not complaining they are usually answered rather quickly wasn't sure if they are not getting through. I have had several on showdowns in the last few weeks.

The only ones I have sent, Rocco, have been on Wordpuzzles, and they were responded to rather quickly, which I really appreciated.

Whatever the problems with the server or the code ...

When I do the WP now, I just do the WP for fun, and purposely exit after I have solved the fifth (sometimes I forget!! grrrr). After all, one Editor told me a while back, I have enough points! Btw, that is true!

When people ask for a reset, that's great! But I gotta believe some get repeats. I have had the WP fail after 3 or 4 puzzles. I quit asking for resets.

The times I've needed a reset, Rowlanda, was in the evening right after the 8:00 Wordpuzzle. There may be more Editors available at that time than early in the morning. I wish you luck, and hope someone sees it. Good Luck!

I have lost 4 or 5 showdowns in the last few weeks due to errors. Support returns your lost points, but my problem is they cannot change the loss to a win in your showdown list, therefore your showdown win/loss percentage is inaccurate. Also they do not take away the points from the loser, and the loser is credited with the win. Why would anyone ever want to challenge when your almost guaranteed to lose due to errors.

The most recent one I am waiting on now is one where I was challenged, answered correctly in a splt second and was rewarded with an error message, it was staged early am on the 24th obviously not expired:

"We were unable to process your request. If this question was not sent to you recently, it may have expired. Please direct any questions concerning this error to"

Still awaiting resolution. Hopefully the errors will be addressed in 2.0 untill then no more showdowns for me.

Most tickets are fairly easy to handle, others take time to decide what to do about them. We have a limited palette of tools to work with and the main reason for delay on your ticket was that we are unable to address your core concern given what we are able to do.

Here is a list of the things we are capable of doing -

Adjust all-time points (but not points in specific categories)
Adjust level points
Adjust the number of wager and showdown tokens
Reset word puzzles
Send question of the day replacements

And of course, dispense advice. My usual piece of advice is that a majority of these errors occur in the morning when the number of players is greatest. I often recommend looking at the list of players at the bottom of the page. If there are more than 5 or 6 rows of names, wait a while to do the things that have the higher risk of errors.

Thanks for the Good Wishes Marilyn....I didn't deserve them though....
Got reset....even got a couple of the same parts from the first quiz I took....
Totally blew it even the second time around....C'est la vie!!!!
