I had more than an 86 percent success rate in my best TQotD category. Why then, oh why, have the past three questions in that category been so hard that they've been answered correctly less than 25 percent of the time? And why did I wager a total of 27 million points on two of them? Grrrr. Foul mood. Must find sugar. Or chips. Or both.

Chocolate covered pretzels can satisfy that "I don't know if I want sweet or salty" craving!

Sorry, I thought I had made it general enough to be unhelpful. I do think questions with 20 percent correct-answer rates -- i.e., ones that statistically represent random guesses -- should be reevaluated.

If you have any of those chocolate covered pretzels around, please pass them. They're my favorite!

I find the percentage correct fascinating. I've gotten Questions I thought were really easy, and they had been answered correctly by, maybe 15% of takers. I've also had questions where I hadn't a clue, and 65% got them right. I once had one I didn't know that had a 96% rate.

I don't think the hard ones should be discarded - they probably average out after awhile. I wonder if anyone knows what the overall average success rate is.
