Rough getting started but once I caught on it was a relatively easy trip. Fun puzzle

On the contrary, I found it to be one of the most difficult puzzles I've tried to do here. I'm exhausted!

Think I'll wait until later to do it, if Lane thought it was that hard.

I agree with Rev! Enjoyable once you got started.

I had three clever and funny puzzles - with clever and funny hints. And two really lame ones with hints that really stretched the limit...

Un-Luck of the draw, again, for me I guess!

I still enjoy all of the word puzzles though, especially when they make me think outside my own box

definition of stupid:
typing the wrong answer in not once but twice by not following the rules....
I'm getting my Homer Simpson costume out for Halloween as we speak -- no disguise necessary.

Fun & clever, tho I lost many points, it had me laughing out loud. I really enjoyed this one!

I thought it was fun and not too hard....
except for the spelling....Tallactor
I'm guessing it was just too SIMPLE
for you to get your mind around!!!!

As my dear Mother used to say: I had an MRI of the brain-they said they didn't see anything. I can't believe it took so many moves.

Is that where the expression "empty headed" comes from????
Maybe you two had different questions....I'm still on the easy ones!!!!

There was nothing simple about the puzzles I got, and the clues were singularly unhelpful. I got one puzzle that was pretty easily gotten, and four that were absolute bears, costing me both many moves and points. Would that I'd gotten all the easy ones, but alas, I did not!

I received one that said something along the lines of "Parrot with a bad odor".

So of course I typed in Polly Anus.

Yup, Polyeanus was the name of a Macedonian author. And probably not the most popular guy at parties.

This puzzle discriminated against those of us living in the Washington DC area. There was a puzzle about "which parrot" lied, so naturally I typed "Polly ticks".

I had the clue....Parrot weds Bee
so I typed in "polly nation"

I think this puzzle was far harder than most of the word games.
And that's a good thing; no?
A lot of the rhyme puzzles tend to be rather eaiser --with one stinker that catches out most of those unlucky enough to get it. This puzzle had far fewer gimmes, so i think it was a good test.
But what was swimming parrot poly ester not esther?

I kept waiting for the clue "Polly in a 1970's suit jacket" for polyester. Never thought about swimming.
