SPRING FORWARD...
FALL BACK

and please change batteries in your smoke detectors .. especially for those of us entering winter, please make sure they are working so the holiday season won't be marred by an undetected fire.

The answer is: Spring forward; fall back. Easy way to remember it.

My dogs are always messing up my sleep by wanting out in the middle of the night, then I sit down in the chair and fall sleep with them outside. After about 30 minutes or so they start yapping so I have to wake up to let them back in. And my little rescue Sheltie still treats me as though I'm the enemy so he won't just run in the house when I open the door. No, I have to go to the far end of the yard and put a lease on him and walk him to the house. As chilly as our nights are now, I'm wide awake by the time I get to the house.

But you are right Liam, they are worth it. Most of the time.

Then I wonder why I'm tired all the time!

Best thing I ever did was cut a hole in my wall and install a doggie door!

This really works great on "Last call". (At least in the fall!)

My dogs have been trained to go potty out in the horse pasture so I have no yard mess. And since Clyde is 180 lbs., that would be a pretty big hole in the wall at our house.

Boy was I ever dumb. Let my daughter have a slumber party for some friends last night. That means I had them for an extra hour.

And in case you're all wondering, 8 year olds get PMS too. Don't let anyone tell ya any different!

Signing off tired and cranky,

Sheri Ras.

Sheri....
I guess whether you're dumb or not
depends on whether you planned the
party before or after they changed
the date for the time change....

And no - you're not dumb, just a caring MuM!!!!
