What kind of quizzes do you want? Just reply and I just might be able to stir up something...

at the risk of repeating myself.....

The key is to create quizzes about topics you will enjoy researching and writing. That's what makes this Sploofus Island so special.

With more than 31,000 members now, it's a pretty good bet that somebody will share your interests and will take them.

So go for it and have fun!

I have to agree. Pick something you are willing to research, and just go from there. It's nice to gather lots of points--but for me the fun is in building the quiz: doing the research, learning new things about a topic I am interested in. Once it's launched I kind of lose interest. Unfortunately, it takes me a long time to build a quiz, and I do not have a lot of spare time, so my quizzes are few and far between.

Have to say this but you will have to think hard and be ultra creative to approach a quiz in the popular areas like music, TV, or movies as they have been done and redone. On the other hand, if you choose a much less popular category you will most likely get fewer takers-take your pick. That is why I have recently particularly enjoyed the quizzes of those folks who have been able to evoke a larger picture with a simple word or two-something different but not ultra difficult and certainly not obscure. I tend to be 'wordy" so not talking about my quizzes-Linda

My post sounded rather discouraging-not my intent. Write on whatever you want to write on as it is fun. Can't say I do not care about number of takers and rating because I do. After I launch one am constantly checking. After you write a few you will get folks who take your quizzes on a pretty regular basis. You will also become aware that the things you write about plain don't interest some. Sometimes I venture out of the Movie/ TV realm Because my mind gets tired of writing on the same thing and folks get rather tired of taking them. Have NEVER had a #2 that did as well as a #1-just thoughts for what they are worth-Linda
