FRUITCAKE

This morning I saw a commercial about passing around the dreaded christmas fruitcake. Personally, I love fruitcake.

I would love to see a quiz about fruitcake.

I checked the Sploofus quiz search for Fruitcake and it came up with "Sister -in law" which in my case in true. A quiz on Fruitcake might me fun.

I have one we have been using for a door stop for the past few years. You can have it if you stop by and pick it up.

Hey! It is not like I chucked it, or regifted it. Although I heard that in all the world there are really only about 1,200 fruitcakes in existence, but they are in a constant state of being shuttled from place to place. Maybe I have an uncatalogued or rogue fruit cake on my hands.

OH! I forgot.

To whom it may concern:

Please excuse Kathryn from work today as she is on a fruitcake mission.

I bought a fruitcake once to support something or other and it was actually very tasty -made by blind nuns in Louisiana, or was it a deaf Corsican monks in Texas? Yeah, Corsica something. Anybody know of it?

I actually found it. It's the Collin St. Bakery in Corsicana, TX...the internet is amazing.

I am using the ones Tuz sent me for Christmas 2005 and 2006 as very useful bookends.

....I could use a new doorstop though, Tuz.

Tuz.....? Yoo-Hoo? *Waving!*

I own 2 fruit cakes. One I use as a tire thumper on the charter buses. The other is used to subdue salmon, pike and muskies.

I will see if I can get a new door stop together for you. I hope it doesn't injure the post man.

Lovely old fruitcake--nothing like it, if you leave out 3/4 of the fruit and add cognac to it.
