WP REQUEST

Is it possible to get a WP on drunk talk? Robin Williams once referred to it as, Drunkenese.

Thanks for your time & consideration

Interesting suggestion! But after I looked up some sources, I just don't see it working. I think it would end up being bad spelling and malapropisms which I see as not going over too well!

An example I found in the Urban Dictionary: "Hey...thees parteee izzz tha...shiiii...uhm...hey. ..man I just like totally downed uhm 5 Jager shots". I would have changed it to this: "Thish partee izzz tha shiii hey man I just like totally downed uhm five Jager shots"

Really, I cringe to think what the populace would say if we put "uhm" into a WP! And "shiii" - no one would ever speak to me again! Might as well be drunken Welsh!

If this is not the type of thing you mean, give me a better example. I'm willing to try!

I was thinking something along the lines of transposed letters in a word or transposed words in a sentence.

thanks anyway

I could do a quiz on "Scouse"
which is a blend of Welsh
and Irish...

Or how about something along the line of Harry Careyisms. He was kicks. He would mispronounce stuff a lot. He always called Kelso, Klesko, for whatever reason, he just couldn't say Kelso. I think it was medical stuff. And as for Grudzelanic, instead of butchering his name, he would refer to him as The G Man.

In one game, when the camera was on a lady surrounded by 5 or 6 kids, Harry Carey looks @ the monitor & then blurts out, "Well, I guess birth control didn't work for her!"
Another time, he made a hilarious joke about a double header, but technically you'll have to imagine what he was referring to-since I'm not sure if I'm allowed to tell you about that one just as it happened.

Instead of drunk talk, I bet you could find the best excuses patrol officers have heard over the years from people pulled over for drunk driving.

You'll find it eventually. It's usually one or two arrows somewhere around the address bar, or somewhere around the back & forward buttons, etc.
