I saw it. Tennessee has a tall order to fill. I loved watching LSU lose that 3OT finale. I hope the Vols beat them. No year is going to do more to prove what a farce the BCS is than this year.

College Football is a drag, Sorry. If there is a rule to be broken, it is done in college sports. Also, placing coaches on the same level as their maker is sickening. Remember Bear Bryant. Take up snooker

One of soccer's greatest contributions to sports is that they call a draw a draw, even when they have to go to a skills competition to determine who advances in a tournament. If only the morons who vote on college football would do likewise and treat the LSU and Tennessee results as the ties they were before they were broken by some charade vaguely resembling the real game, and not equivalent to Arkansas and Tennessee winning, say, 27-10.

My personal preference is for burnt orange, but my team is so far down the toilet, not even a plunger would help.
Whoever wins the SEC deserves to win it all. Great teams in that conference.

Y'alls love of orange is admirable, if a just a touch misguided.

Three out of four colorologists agree that the best orange may be found where the Blue Ridge yawns its greatness.

And one of the persistent rumors is Clemson-Texas in the Gator Bowl.that'll be a heckuva game!

The Horns may or may not show up for ANY bowl. I am a disgruntled fan. The coaches NEVER make adjustments. My 9 year old grandson could call better plays. Bah, Humbug!

I know nothing about football. Don't even know what teams you folks are talking about.

All I know is that I am from Nebraska, University of Nebraska-Lincoln Coach Callahan is out the door (but not until he had ruined chances for a bowl game and given UNL one of its worst losing seasons), and former successful coach and beloved Tom Osborne is in the athletic director's seat at the University of Nebraska.

This much I do know about Nebraska Cornhusker football - there's always next year!

Revdodd, it wasn't the UT's laundry department who added the bleach to their orange was some misguided souls from Steve Spurrier's Gamecocks that did it! LOL

I live in Knoxville, TN, home to the Vols. Everything here is orange and white, they even paint the over passes in UT colors. My husband is a life-long die-hard FLA Gator fan. My sister went to UGA. My other sister went to GA Tech. After much consternation, and do to my rebellious nature, "my" team is Kentucky!

Salzy: Rumor down this way is LSU is firing one of their assistants for putting together a coaching staff to move to Nebraska....

Y'all sure we couldn't interest you in a hardly used Jim Grobe? It would make our lives easier down here.

oooops! Punched too soon.

We had a great time partying with Vol folks in 2003 for the Peach Bowl, Vickie. Of course , they didn't feel like partying afterwards, but great folks!

Sometimes I feel like Clemson ended up in the wrong conference. Too many stuffed shirts and waaaaay too much blue in the ACC.

sorry Rev, your hardly used Jim Grobe doesn't sound like any better deal that Callahan was. We've had enough losing seasons ... if you know anything about Nebraska football at all you know that pretty much the whole state bleeds Husker red. But thanks for your generous offer.
