I grew up on this stuff... and a great quiz!

Yes, great quiz. I did terribly though, even though I read a ton of them.

But now I have a technical question. I went back to recommend some of Violetblue's quizzes, particularly the two about who's been knighted and who turned the Queen down, but since I've already taken them, they disappear from her quiz list. So, how do I find the link to post it?

You might try from the command center and view quizzes you have taken. That might help you.

Oh, good point. I had never used that before - guess I never saw the need. But that should work. Thanks Skspencer. If you see a new topic from me in a few minutes, then it does.

Uhn no, that doesn't work. You can see the title and your score, but you can't click on the title to get to the link. But you can get the exact title there - for example, Surreyman's excellent "Yanks Go Home!", a response to Geniuswaitress's excellent "Lame Stuff From the U.K. -You Can Have It Back!"

Now I've played with doing it manually and discovered that you can get back to the quiz, but the address is not quite the same as the title, so you'll have to play around with it. The addresses for my two examples above turn out to be -

So all lower case, no punctuation and an underscore between each word. So, the manual way works, but hopeful there is or will be an easier way.

Violetblue's Forensic Science quiz is one of my all time favorites. I would say that eksimba is another favorite author, but he hasn't been doing anything lately (hint, hint!)

Jim, I am so flattered. I enjoy your quizzes very much. You have both creativity and humor thrown in to the whole educational experience which makes for a great quiz!

The quizzes you referenced above are here:

And Jenn, thank you for that kind comment also. That was one of my favorite quizzes so far-- I love the topic and could go on and on... maybe I will write some more. I'm afraid people will start to think I'm too morbid, though.

If someone posts just the name of the quiz, we can always do a search to find it.

These are already well-known to those of you who've been here awhile, but for newbies like me who haven't discovered them yet, I highly recommed Surreyman's live pub quizzes. Fantastic!

And Violet, if you have more material for forensics quizzes, bring 'em on!

I also enjoyed Violet's forensic quiz. With all the shows out there, CSI, Cold Case, etc., who's to say you are morbid? Keep 'em comin'!! Teresa
