On the WordPuzzles, I forget the scoring rules. Is it just by # of moves? And then you get points from # of moves and your time? On the Caldecott quiz, I was under 200 seconds, along with few others. (and with NO cheating)

You get ten points for every correct letter guessed, then bonus points for your final standing. Top Ten bonus points range from 5000 (#1) to 1000 (#10) and drop off to 200-something for 11th place. Eleventh place and 100th place are basically the same, I think.

Ranking among players who have the same numbers of moves is then based on the quickest time.

Remember, your actual guess of the answer counts as a word, too.

Oops, your actual guess of the answer counts as a MOVE, too.

The time thing really bugs me as I am on veeerrryyy slow dial up and sometimes sit souting at the thing to change page lol
Also as I am visually impaired long questions on a quiz take a lot longer for me to read.
So no chance of a high place but still it is great fun playing.
