My husband would say otherwise, since the housework is sitting untouched.

I've always felt housework was grossly overrated.

i watch 'antiques roadshow'. the experts always say *not* to clean items because it reduces the value by thousands.

so the way i see it, not cleaning the new stuff will make them 'antique' faster and more valuable.

besides doesn't dust have an insulating effect??

With bagging leaves coming in a close second...

We have about 20 trees in the front yard alone so raking & bagging leaves is just out of the question. We have an old riding lawnmower with two garbage can like things on the back, that we use exclusively for "raking."

And when I say "we" I mean "Scott."

"I like quotation marks."

"Lodi"

I chose St Zita as my confirmation saint. Turns out she's the patron saint of housecleaners. My mother laughed about that for 40 years. She's probably still laughing.

If dust has an insulating effect than my house is completely safe! Like a womb.
