Do not misuderstand, please. I appreciate the effort that goes into writing a Community quiz-enjoy many. My gripe, I guess, is that when they launch-never a "for Sure' time and date the push quizzes off the 30 most recent thus in many aspects a wasted effort by the author that have not been there very long.Exposure is what gets takers. I'll wait a bit before launching anoth to make sure their launching is complete-thanks-Linda

Incidentally, my most recent is still there but now down on the list. JFK said if one didn't have a solution not to complain-most likely that applies here-Linda

Its tough to know how long in advance (or afterwards) one needs to post quizzes.
Often posting a quiz on Friday might get caught in the Sunday rush.
It really ticks me off when I get a notice of a posted quiz and then see 10 quizzes in front of mine all opened in the last hour but them's the breaks.

we have so many talented, prolific writers now maybe the 'recent quizzes' listing needs a time limit. perhaps a quiz should be on the listing for at least 24 hours after its release.

i suspect the reason many authors resort to self promotion is due to the fact their quizzes drop off the 'recent quizzes' listing so quickly.

Could not agree with you more, Cheyenn. Everything about quiz launching is done in an arbitrary and whimsical manner. Mean no insult to anyone -not that I am immune to that, but has to be a better system. Think I, like others. could write on "deeper" topics but because they might come and go rapidly, chose to submit multiple quizzes on popular topics like movies and TV. Knoew htat it brings a sense of achievment to receive an EA but myself find the research not rewarding enough=suppose there are folks who have many appelations for me but , frankly, don't care. Some EAs do receive "Applause" and end up on 25 most popular but most on obscure topics disappear into the ether-term used by anothe Sploofuser-Linda
