Just received a poll question about "freeze Up" in question of the day. I am a computer dunce but tried to answer but could not by clicking anywhere-I have never been frozen out of the daily questiion but have had difficulties contacting the site when my username and password do not work-imput on this would be greatly appreciated=love the site and know you are devoted to it but some things make be downright "peevish"- Linda

I haven't had a freeze up. I have just had situations where I click the answer but the timer just keeps running and then it finally goes to a screen that tells me my answer is wrong because I timed out. When that happens, I put in a Support Ticket and the question is either fixed or the editors send me another question. Its great they can do that.

If I am not mistaken, Linda, that's an old poll question.

Really? I'm surprised. They have always been very good about responding to those. I would try again.

I just checked the support system, Baggiob, and there are only two of your tickets open, both because they've been escalated to Justin - one at your request!

Neither, however, are about a wager on a TQOTD, so if you are certain you haven't just missed the answer in your PM box, please do put the question in again.

We do do our best to keep up with these tickets, and if one if not answered within a very short time it's almost certainly going to be because it's something we can't fix/answer and it has been escalated to Justin, so do follow up on any unanswered ones and we can at least confirm that it is on his list!

sploofanote i will try that although it was about 10 days ago or something and I can't really remember anything about the question.

Oh and is there anyway of telling me what the two unanswered support tickets are? I think I know what one of them might be (and if it is the one i think it is then it can be deleted. lol) Would be good to know what the other one is? Any way of doing that?

I agree with Lodi on this, any and everytime I have sent in a support ticket, I have been answered in a very reasonable amount of time with much help from the support staff, which is GREATLY appreciated!
