THE IMPORTANCE OF PUNCTUATION

An English professor wrote the words "Woman without her man is nothing" on the blackboard and asked his students to punctuate it correctly.
The men wrote "Woman, without her man, is nothing."
The women wrote "Woman: Without her, man is nothing."

Which version do YOU prefer?

I recommend the book "Eats, Shoots, and Leaves". The title is referring to a panda bear, who, eats 'shoots and leaves', but the content is the most entertaining book on puncuation!
