PREPARE THYSELF

I took a note pad to the new harry potter movie and am plotting some fiendishly clever quizzes.

Hey, can you come babysit for me so I can go see it? Please?

Hoping to get a sitter for the noisy boy in my profile sig (and his sisters) by Wednesday at the latest.

I think it will spawn a lot of love and hate. It is the best "movie" of the series. It is a little more adult, less kiddie...which thrills some and annoys others. The series is really maturing. I am waiting to hear siriusofazkaban's take, cuz she is a major league fan.

Siriusof Azkaban is a fan of the Harry Potter series? Huh. Who would have known?

Please don't post any specifics about the movie without a big SPOILER warning.

Goblet of Fire is my favorite of the six books, so I have really been excited about this film.

I saw it, too, but I'm not talking. Wouldn't want to spoil Violetblue's viewing!

I am holding it back a bit...and will post spoiler warning all over it. I am wondering how to get it to a editor who isn't so inteested, so they won't mind editing it. Hate to have someone like you get it too soon.

I will be seeing it tonight. I did take a quiz today and scored 70% without even taking it (I know, I am horrible with surprises). I just can't wait!

My quiz has been finished for a while, but I am holding it until tomorrow to ship for approval.

If you are considering taking young children (and care about their psyche) to this movie, you might want to reconsider. It is darker and scarier than the previous movies, IMO. I was shocked that I saw so many 3, 4, and 5 year olds in the theater. IDIOT parents.

Hey Lakerkobe, feel free to call me an idiot. My 4 1/2-year-old DD came along and really loved it. There was one scene toward the end where she covered her eyes and peeked out through her fingers. Afterwards she asked if we could see it again.

She also loves Space Mountain. I'm sure a few people thought I was irresponsible for bringing on that. It's her favorite ride.

All kids are different. I'm sure there are some twelve-year-olds who would have found Harry Potter (or Space Mountain) a bit too much. No nightmares in my household thus far.

Hey Laker and Violet, don't let things get out of hand. Ever child is different. My nine year old covered her eyes during the Voldemort scene. But she has read all of the books and loves them.
