ARE YOU REALLY IN THE POLITICAL PARTY YOU THINK YOU ARE IN?

I am doing some research and I could use and would value your input. I get no money or anything like that. I am investigating the theory that more intelectual types tend to lean to the left. Check out this non sploofus political quiz. http://www.politicalbrew.com/politest.cgi Yea, I know it's no points, but I found the results fascinating anyway. If you want post your results. I'll show mine, so show me yours... lol. On Non-Fiscal (social)Issues, you rank as a Strong Conservative (82). On Fiscal (tax and money)Issues, you rank as a Moderate Liberal (28). 0 is the most liberal, 50 is "moderate", 100 is the most conservative. Please, share only your results so that we can avoid tainting the results, and getting into those inevitable party fights. Thanks everybody for your help. If you prefer, you can email me your results at ron1kon@hotmail.com .

I see others have read this post, yet not posted results...

On Non-Fiscal Issues, rank as a Moderate Liberal (29).
On Fiscal Issues, rank as a Moderate Liberal (23).

Didn't really consider myself with any political affiliation, but also didn't think of myself as a hand-holding liberal, as I so often hear it described. Cool.

On Fiscal Issues, you rank as a Strong Liberal (16).

This seem too far to the left. Some of my opinions were 'between the cracks' of the provided answers. However, it was an interesting quiz.

It was an interesting quiz and the results pretty much matched the way I see myself politically. Some of my answers would probably have been different than the choices given, but they covered the spectrum pretty well.

On Non-Fiscal Issues, you rank as a Moderate Conservative (64).
On Fiscal Issues, you rank as a Moderate Conservative (68).

This is a nice quiz that really can help young people with no clue about politics (and who might vote according to what their mom or their best friend's older brother does). Everyone should get informed and vote.

Thanks for your time everybody! So far, so good. I just need at least a dozen or so more to get a good cross section. To clarify, I will not be keeping personal info other than age and sex. I will respect your privacy if you help me out here.

First off, I am Canadian...so I don't know if that affects your readings.
I believed going in that I was fairly liberal on both charts, which irinically makes me more of a New Democratic Party supporter in Canada, even though we have a party called the Liberals.

I should have added that on a few of the question I found none of the answers satisfactory and had to "settle" for the closest.

About where I expected on non-fiscal, but the fiscal questions did not have answers that fit my thinking. Maybe the poll is a bit narrow there?

Was just interested to see how a Brit would make out, as far as is possible!
Surprised me - I'm usually regarded as conservative.
But, of course, this relates to USA politics, where two zeros would probably be two 75s in the UK!
Non-Fiscal: Moderate Liberal, 38
Fiscal: Strong Liberal, 19

I expected to be more conservative than "moderate liberal" on fiscal issues, and I agree with others that some of the questions didn't have any answers I fully agreed with. No surprise on the non-fiscal side: I've always been a social liberal.

i feel sorry for all of you that think the government is responsible for your well being, it amazes me how many people want the most corrupt people in the world (politicans) to be in control of their lives.

I was always told that Democrats will take all your money, but Republicans will get you killed. Having just finished the series on political scandals, I see no correlation between party and integrity. Government is not the answer to everything, but the alternative is worse.
