In reading my daily yahoo news - this caught my attention - guess we won't see a McDonald's hot coffee type settlement on this

ChickFBref & other Chicagoites are going to have to check this out and fill us in!

Snacking on a wing and a prayer Fri Jan 4, 9:29 AM ET

CHICAGO (Reuters) - A Chicago tavern said on Thursday it will begin selling chicken wings coated in one of the world's hottest peppers -- a dish so hot that patrons first have to sign a waiver agreeing not to sue for injuries.

Jake Melnick's Corner Tap said the wings made with Red Savina pepper will be served with an alarm bell for patrons to summon waiters with sour cream, milk sugar and white bread if things get out of hand.

Levy Restaurants, which owns the tavern, said its chef d'Cuisine Robin Rosenberg had been working on the concept for years but was never sure he'd be able to serve it.

"This isn't the right sauce for everyone, but for someone out there, this is going to be absolute heaven. Of course, for a handful of people, it's going to be hell," he said.

I sent this to a friend of mine from HS...

Back in the day, we were out for dinner and he ordered wings...He stopped the waitress before she left with our order and asked, "are they hot?"

She shrugged and said, "I guess."

He says, "tell the cook that I want them HOT, the hotter the better."

The order arrived at the table and he took his first bite. Upon doing so, his face turned bright red, beads of sweat appeared on his forehead and upper lip and he took his napkin and wiped his tongue.

After recovering, he said, "Man, that's great..."

Back in the day, .10 wings were a big draw in the local bars and HOT doesn't begin to describe them. Beer quenching was the idea but now there'd probably be some restrictions because of DWI fears and rightfully so!

All you have to do in Chicago for hot stuff is to go to "Little Village" on 26th Street.
They have stuff that'll tighten anyone up. We used to get drunk and go for chili and would remember the event the next morning. They have a hot sauce that is about $5.00
for a two ounce bottle. On the label, it says nobody can take two drops of this junk. If I go to the area, I'll get the name of it.
