I was just wondering if other people out there went crazy due to WordRounds. I've gotten totally addicted to them, and today I did one in 24 seconds. My best time to date. I jumped up and yelled, looked like a real weirdo probably.
I still can't figure out how some of you people do a round in 19 seconds or so. I bet if I did one that fast, I'd faint.

I feel ecstatic if I get a 28 sec. or under, I'm not addicted though, I can quit any time I want, wish my job did'nt have to interfere with wordrounds as much as it does...

You're doing GREAT!!! If I can do one in under 40 seconds, then I'm excited. Seems my times have the better the last 24 hours. Sure don't know why, but I'll take it

I love them. If I had internet access at work I'm sure I'd be playing every hour.
Your times are good! Some people have faster connections and computers (not that they aren't also really good at the puzzles!).
Even if I got 10 kindergarten-level definitions I couldn't get 19 seconds. I'm happy when I break 30. =)

I love that you jumped up and yelled at your score--makes me feel slightly less geeky. (Though it doesn't really make me any less geeky--just in good company.)
Last week or so I logged on and saw that EHodgson had the top score, so I was going for #2. I got my best time ever (23 seconds I believe) and I yelled out loud, "I beat EHodgson!!!" My boyfriend is still making fun of me.

Great comments. We probably all have our personal nemisis' on here that we love to beat. Without naming names...(Pafork, Yawbus, Kimmie) ok, I named names.

That's why I like it when I can play late at night. There are a lot less people on here and therefore a lot less people to have to beat!

Getting my broadband back and sneaking in when folks are a-snoozin' might get me back on the leaderboards......*sigh!* Don't reckon I could get those rocketfuel-powered times though, even with broadband!
Congrats to the folks with the speeds that are just a blurrrrrrr.....!

How can you even read the questions in 19 seconds? If I ever get below 30 seconds...the men will come with the white jackets to take me away because my family will have no idea why mommy lost her mind & is screaming and jumping up and down. And I am not even talking about if I get 100%....LOL

I am completely addicted...but my times are getting worse. I seem to be overthinking the answers and that's slowing me up. Well, that and load time!!
