Book: "The White Bone" by Barbara Gowdy....thanks to Smoke20 for recommendation
Read start date: anytime
Read by date: March 1, 2008

Amazon info on book:

Aid for finding discounted books:

A site for swapping books:

This had been called an "easy read", and should be a great start.

Please remember that everyone reads at a different pace. Let's try not to post any "spoilers" in the forum, at least until March. Maybe we can start a discussion thread, as well as quizzes, at that time.

Has anyone tried the electronic reading gizmo that Amazon is promoting? They're on back order right now, but it sounds intriguing. You purchase magazines, newspapers, and books (for a discount price) through the device and it lets you read them at your leisure. It stores up to 200 books at a time, and you don't need any special internet access. It's compact in size and lightweight. My daughter has such a huge reading list that I thought it might pay for itself within a year.

Anybody tried one?

Thank you!

I haven't tried it Osuz but I did download their thingy where you can download and watch movies and/or TV episodes. I just haven't had time to watch any yet.
