I agree! All that twangy country music sent me screaming from the computer.

Cute kid but not my scene, man.

I can only exist in a Hank Junior-free bubble.

Aw, c'mon guys, he's a cute lil kid with a tremendous amount of stage presence and talent. Country music isn't so bad if you get someone singing without the twang.

And just think how great he'll be when he turns 5!

Dang. You people are a tough room.

I couldn't care less what type of music he performs. I was blown away that this 4 year old could:
1. Sing in tune
2. Enunciate understandably
3. Play accordion
4. Play intricate rhythms accurately
5. Perform in front of 10s of thousands of humans
6. Exhibit showmanship without fear or trembling
7. Enjoy ADVANCED performance at such a young age

Heck, he can do gangsta rap next year. He'll be able to do ANY kind of music. He didn't pick his family, ya know. And yet those people you say have few teeth gave him the opportunities to learn and perform such complex musical intricacies. I know people with more teeth who have denied their own children such opportunities. Give credit where credit is due.

Hunter Hayes is now 16 & still performing his Cajun(Zydeco)music. I quite enjoy this style of music, though not a steady diet

J.J., not being critical...when I was four I think I could count to 4...sure couldn't do what he does. Glad to know that he's 16 and still doing gigs. I'm kind of surprised more people haven't heard of him.

Cajun/Zydeco fine,,,,,,Country NO! especially Hank Jr. The guy sings (yells) the same song every time, just changes the words a little.

Have you heard his classic stuff? Family Tradition, Rambling Man, Kaw-Liga? His new stuff isn't all that fab but his old stuff from the 70's and 80's was awesome. Kinda like Elton John.

Well, I might give it a try. I have to admit to owning a Hoyt Axton CD.

Definitely check out these albums: Habits Old & New, Pure Hank ( a later album that was quite good), and Whiskey Bent and Hell Bound. The Bocephus Box is a boxed set and has all the good stuff.
