Despite the fact that many of my quizzes dont appeal to everyone I rarely get rude comments.
When I get one with a rude comment I can live with that.
but where one reports an unusually inappropriate comment what happens?
In this case the writer has a marking average of about three; does that constitute a bomber -- does the system automatically flag him or her?

If you report the bomber and/or abuse via the link at the bottom of the PM box, it will go to Justin.
If you report this person or this matter via a Support Ticket, it goes to the editors.

Perhaps you could do both?

Either way, it WILL be dealt with.

Why is the rating system even range from 1 to 9? It seems everyone gets upset if they don't receive a nine. If it is in the scale can't i use it? Why do I have to rate everyone a nine? To be PC why not change it to be more like those silly EA quizzes where 9 is excellent and 8 is poor. Now that's fair. Are we not allowed to use the entire scale of voting ranges for some reason? I don't understand why else they would be options for a quiz taker to use if they were not valid?

It's just points right? If I am ever in the hospital in bad condition please forward my points there as they seem to posses 'Life and Death' powers.

Did I bomb Garrybl's quiz? I didn't even take it. Do I give out 1's on a regular basis? Yep.

Don't push the red button,

You give out 1's regularly? Man, your karma bank must be empty!

Why do people get all excited about ratings I do my quizzes for people to enjoy and if they don't surely its up to them what they want to rate it.

I'm not sure, the only thing I can think is that it has something to do with points.

The amount of points you get each time someone takes one of your quizzes is determined by the aggregate rating of all your quizzes I believe. So when people rate down your quizzes you get less points.

Also, many people strangely enough won't play a quiz that's not rated within a certain range of their determining. So less points again.

The person Garrybl is concerned about is someone who habitually rates almost every quiz they play in the one to three range, instead of just the ones they didn't like. Not someone like felix who uses the whole range of numbers when determining what to give a quiz.

A bomber is someone who continually rates people's quizzes low. If your rating average is 3 then you must be giving out a WHOLE LOT of ones and twos to bring it down that low. And rating a quiz low is one thing but sending abusive comments to the writer of the quiz like Garrybl said is just uncool.
