WHERE'S SMAUG?

I can't remember the last time I didn't see Smaug's name in this forum. What is going on? I hate change! I need to laugh (Read post in Aargh!)

He took all his pictures down from his profile page, too.

See, you miss him when he's gone, don't you?

I think he's around, his profile just shows a major points win yesterday.
My congratulations....feels good, huh?

Congrats to Giants - I would have really loved to see the Patriots win and have an undefeated season - but that was a REALLY good game!

Last time I saw him was after the "Tragic Gripe" thread, several personal attacks on his character in that thread, maybe he got fed up??

I think "personal attacks on his character" is a mite steep, and he never struck me as the thin-skinned sort. He's probably busy with one of his own boards.

Quit worrying about him. He's right here, giving me a pedicure. He has a light touch.

Saw his name towards the top on the word puzzle list yesterday, I believe. He pouts much like a child and wants folks to ask about him. He can be fun when he chooses but he also defies procedures that others have ben asked and actually "scolded" into following. Am sure he is reading these threads. Last time he said "farewell" I sent him a pm asking him to reconsider-won't do it again-Linda

He's dancing in the streets. Giants outcoached Patriots, cost me $490.00 in a pool.

If Smaug was celebrating the Giants, maybe he hasn't been able to raise bail.

Is it possible that Mr Smaug has gone on holiday and had the goshdarned temerity not to inform us?

Thanks Eileen. Its not as much fun without someone who can match wits with me. Not that Smaug ever could, but he did come close a couple of times.

i tried to look up 'trouble maker' in the dictionary.. it said "see eexxxxxxxxxxxxx". (someone had used a magic marker to mark through the reference but the 'ee' was readable.) so i went to the "ee" page, but it had been torn out...

left me scratching my head...

who would interfere with higher education?

Frankly, I was more upset with his lack of posting than worried about his health.

If he is breathing thru a tube, but still posting witticisms, I'm all good....

Maybe I'm just a selfish cold hearted bastard.....

Shhh, he's gonna hear you and his ego will swell to such enormous proportions, he'll burst, then we'll really be up that famous creek with no paddles.

On another note, I own a bad hat...It goes well with my paisley sports coat and plaid pants. All red. Someone once said that I resembled a "walking, talking hemorrhoid"...ouch.

Smaug almost left the front page. I feel like I just pulled him out of the drink and gave a little pat on his heart and got a faint beat back. Maybe I'm hearing things. Lodi! Nothin' 'bout patting any lowa!
