HOLY OBSCURE VOCABULARY, BATMAN!

I just got a vocab question for my TQOTD that had a 10.6% success rate. That rate has just dropped.

Well mine today was totally DUH and guess what? I missed it. AND it was about the TV show Dallas....which I NEVER watched. Still makes one feel like a moron but then that is not a new sensation for me.

Last week I had one question answered right by 10% followed the next day by one answered correctly by 8%. I feel like I'm playing limbo...how low can she go?

How abstruse was this recondite and obfuscatory gordian lexeme?

In the past couple of weeks, I have wagered 10M apiece on vocabulary questions.....and bombed badly on stuff I have never heard of! Gaa-a-a-a-ah!

Just by guessing 20% should get it right. Makes you wonder how many of the 10% got it correct by chance.

My last two were correct guesses.

Think i might settle for any vocabulary question. Seems like I haven't seen one in weeks. I know. I know-questions are random and believe an editor said somewhere that vocabulary has the most-couldn't prove it by me though1

Think I might be responsible for your missing Vocab questions Heidi - I've had 6 in the last 2 weeks!(and won 2 wagers: 75 and 90 million respectively!)

You're not gonna believe this...

That's 3 days in a row! (and number 7!!)

I'd just like to state for the record that I never have, nor intend to, sleep with any member of the Editing staff. And, if this run on Vocab questions continues, I mean that in exactly the same way that former President Clinton understands the phrase 'sexual relations'.

But since they have secret identities, how can you be sure?

Presumably they'll tell me what I'm doing wrong, then make me go back and start over until I get it right.

My vocabulary TQOTD had a 6% correct record. Didn't know the answer and saw how people (including myself) would make a certain guess that was wrong. Didn't know a question about colors could be that tough.

Hey Garry.. I'll be sure to let you know how long my drought lasts... having said that.. I got 5 wager tokens on Dec. 15... still have 6 left.. I've seen 2 vocab questions since then (thankfully successfully wagered). I don't think I've ever had so many tokens sitting there waiting to be used.. even the year before I remember using them all up quite quickly - on vocab questions only - soooo.. me thinks there's a no-vocab question conspiracy underfoot.. (lol j/k )

My vocab question referred to scientific intervals of time.

Please! On two separate occasions, I went up 3 levels without seeing a vocabulary question. I did, however, manage to see every Nascar, Snooker, Hockey, and Golf statistic question ever devised.
