WOW, THESE WORDROUND TIMES!

I can remember when a time of 28 seconds would get me no lower than 3rd or 4th place. Well, right now I am in 7th place with a 28 second time. It's getting pretty competitive.

I just barely won with a 24.5,and thought I had a pretty good chance a couple times the last few days with sub-28's but ended up getting bumped. I'm not complaining though...like it like that. oogie aka slowhand

I am on a DSL line and the quiz never loads in under 10 seconds. I just get in within the first 5 minutes...get in the top three and pray that the internet goes down!! Cause as time goes by...so does my ranking. If I ever get in the top 3 (at the end)...the heavens will open...

then maybe I could get a really cool hat.

The fastest I can do is about 35 seconds. I am amazed how so many can go so much faster. I think my loading time is what kills me.

I have fiber-optic,but an ancient pc, looking forward to getting a new one to see if times improve. That's justification enough for the purchase huh?

Oogie, absolutely buy that faster PC. Faster WordRound times is enough of a reason!

It's not like I'm obsessive or anything, I only tend to do wordrounds once an hour out of every waking hour, and trivia quizzes, wordpuzzles...

Oogie...

If you can win enough WordRounds...then win the month...then win the gift certificates...for about 10 years...you could recoup your new computer purchase!! Sounds completely logical to me. Heck I have used less sound logic on all my computer purchases and in my mind the purchases were genius!!

At this point I am taking a tin can and I am going to run a string to Michigan...directly to Sploofus' home, where I will put another tin can. (Provided he doesn't have me arrested for stalking) Ya think that will work?

Just a thought...Kelly

A la Spanky and our Gang?Sounds perfectly logical to me, anyway sometimes the suspension of logic is necessitated by the end result. oogie

I cannot fathom how anyone can get a better time than about 22 seconds...my best time I think is 23.38....crazy!

My methodology is go for accuracy and hope for speed til I hit 100%, then go for speed and hope for accuracy. Sometimes I may as well close my eyes though, every effort is to no avail.
