WELL DONE U.S.S. LAKE ERIE CG-70

As a former Radarman Second Class RD2 during the 60's , I want to extend a congratulatory "Well Done" and "Fine Job" on destroying a wayward satellite Thursday.
My successors, the Radarmen, Fire Control Technicians and Guided Missle Technicians made the job look like a piece of cake. We should all be proud of our men and women in our Armed Forces. I am always proud of any naval accomplishment. It always bugs me when people use the expression "drunken sailor", especially on FOX News. Someone ought to inform them that the U.S. Navy is the most powerful and successful force on the face of the earth. "GO NAVY"

i am proud of our Armed Forces too.

the ability to hit that satellite in one shot, given the speed and the narrow window of opportunity, was a testimony to the incredible skill on that ship.

Definitely! That Was Awesome!!! Congrats Navy

Let's use our already available technology to help keep the USA economy vibrant and not held hostage to foreign energy cartels.
We need to change our reliance on oil. [Bush and Cheney got theirs= are you better off than you were 8 years ago?

Well done post - Bill

Al, don't get me started with Bush and Cheney, they are "NO" good for organized labor, just Republican greed.
