From those of you who enjoy doing the Word Puzzles, I would like some comments.

You can now see which editor constructed the puzzle. Therefore, you know I made the 2 puzzles on China. This first puzzle has winning score as high as any previous puzzle I can remember.

Did you enjoy it? Was it fun or frustrating? Did you try to get a low score, or do you just do it as a fill in? Would you enjoy them more if they were easier?

All of the editors want to make quizzes that are fun and enjoyable. Help us by giving us feedback to improve our puzzle making.

Thank you for your support!

Fun, but as geography is *not* my favorite subject...

I enjoy all the puzzles very much.

More....more....more word puzzles. They are such a fun and quick diversion. I really enjoy them and applaud the editors for their fine work creating them! I like the big puzzles that are more of a challenge to figure out even if it means my move count is higher - it is still lots of fun.

I like all the puzzles, and generally don't attempt a low time or count, just have fun guessing. Danny

I agree that the word puzzles lately have been great. I'm really enjoying the diversity of the puzzles. I used to just fill in the letters for the points, but these days, I'm enjoying the challenge of guessing and earning a higher spot on the leaderboards.

I agree that the WP lately have been great. I usually go for filling it all in. But I do try and do it in the least moves. The China ones were hard and frustrating, but I still enjoyed them. And I'd like to see more too. I have to make sure I'm on here every 12 hours, just to do the WP

I agree. Lots of fun. I pop them on at work and just stare at the blank spaces until something clicks into place.

Keep 'em coming!

Love word puzzles--wish there were more! The first puzzle was challenging, which I like. Very fun.
I always try to do the puzzle in as few moves as I can, even if that means staring at it for 25 minutes!
Off to take China quiz #2

I enjoy doing 'em too....not necessarily aiming for fastest time, more for accuracy and low moves.
I have baulked at a couple of 'em coz they were way too outta my league, but most are pretty easy.

The word puzzles are my favorite (and what edged me into getting a gold membership).
I only did OK on the China ones but only because I don't know enough about China.
My fault, not yours.
Good work.

On the WordPuzzles with short answers I try for as few moves as possible. With the long ones with lots of letters, I always fill in all the letters even if I know the answer well before.
I've decided to go for max points on those, any that add up to more than 1000 points (at least 100 letters.) Placing 11th with very few moves just doen't pay, since there's only 299 or less points paid for it and approximately 201 points for 199th.

I always go in thinking of trying for a top 10, but if I feel like I am out, or I typo myself, then I got for fill-in. But I still try to figure out each one, then count my additional fill-in letters and subtract them off at the end to see what I would have if I made the guess when I knew it. I have missed being in the top 10 a couple times, but the vast majority of the time I am satisfied to have just picked up the extra points.

I enjoy playing the word puzzles. I enjoy the lengthy ones, moreso. I do admit that I've enjoyed the 'colorful' ones the most, but do enjoy all of them.

Great job to all the authors of the puzzles!

I just went against my rule of filling everything in when there are lots of letters. I love poetry, and I actually tried to do the poetry puzzle in the shortest time I could, even though I misspelled one word and had 3 points added. Tonight's puzzle will be the test for me. If I can't make up in ranking points what I threw away by not doing all of the letters, I'm not trying for the least amount of letters ever again...well maybe until the next time. SO THERE!

I have been enjoying all the Wp as of late. It depends on what kind of mood I am in if I should decide to go for a high ranking or just fill them all in for points. The China ones I did as fill in's because they were hard (but fun!) Tonight I went for a high ranking in the poetry, but I have a feeling I am going to get knocked out of the top 10. Oh well!

We love the WordPuzzles. If we get the first one quickly then we will try for fewest guesses, if it takes a awhile and lots of guesses on the first one, then we go for points and especially if they are long ones. Sometimes the answers come right to us, and then other times you can stare at it for a long time and still not get it - and even after having most of the letters filled it we still go "DUH"?

I love the word puzzles. My trivia knowledge is somewhat limited (mainly books and some music).....I have things I am a fanatic about *cough*Harry Potter*cough* and usually play those quizzes constantly and play anything else that catches my eye as I scan through the quizzes. The other big thing I play is the word puzzles. I suck at them but I like them alot. I'm not a word round addict yet.....but give me time and I'm sure I'll get there.
