During my 2+ years of doing WordPuzzles the following events have caused either a delay or cancellation of my WP.
-Phone, more than once
-Power outage
-Tornado warning (false alarm)
-Jehovahs Witness "recruiters"
-Dog business
-Friends or relatives, (If I did one at 3AM Somebody would knock)
-Bodily functions (No description necessary,)
But a recent one tops them all. I did the first puzzle, then went to refill coffee. Then "Big Dawg" wanted out. On the way back I stopped for a second or two to watch History Channel, and then after letting dog back in I sat down to drink coffee and watch something about Hitler or somebody only to rediscover the computer around noon or so. And then I whine about doing poorly in the puzzles! Old age,,,,,,,bummer.

So this too is Hitler's fault. I'm really not surprised.

"Big Dawg wanted out"?

What the hell is that a euphemism for?

I can't believe that you answer the phone OR the door during the WP. I figure that whoever is there can call or come back! LOL

Nothing except the red or blue stops me from WPS. My kids know what that means.

Red=blood, blue=not breathing??? I've tried to teach my son to only interrupt with important things but have failed miserably

Been there, done that. I've too frequently gotten distracted by something or someone else and come back to the computer an hour or so later...and been quite surprised that I was in the middle of a WP. I think it's Oldtimers Disease

Sorry Ruth I shouldn't have assumed that everyone had heard about the rule that parents sometimes teach their children so that they will not be bothered unnecessarily.
