With joy I began the Word Puzzle today as poetry is one of my favourite subjects. I immediately guessed John Keat's poem. Why did I loose so many repeated points on "incorrect" guesses? Everything was correct except one small word. Normally "odes" are poems dircted to someone/something e.g. Keat's Ode to a Nightengale, Shelley's Ode to a Skylark etc. But of course it was ode "on" a Grecian Urn. (I even studied this poem at school for my A level English exam). LOST POINTS..! SCREAM..! It got worse. I breezed along again, almost immediately recognising all the others, so what happened? Yes, I mispelt Coleridge's name at least twice. SCREAM AGAIN!
So fellow Sploofusions check your spelling on even the smallest word before you quickly solve Word Puzzles.Take advice from this sad cautionary tale. (Sob...).

P.S. Hi Marynuala again. I have just noticed that I mispelt "directed" in my pervious message. Not one of my better days with spelling.

You ARE having a bad day - it's previous, not pervious. (Sorry, couldn't resist - LOL).

Wait until you get penalized because of a double space between words or because you accidentally put a period or apostrophe on something like dr. or won't, or a period at the end of sentence/phrase.

This is why I often dont bother with the grief of wordpuzzles. Cause whenever I guess, I make some dumb little mistake. Then I'm just mad and I click nonsense stuff until the round ends.

You can click noncentz stuff all you like, I don't mind.

Oh. You wrote nonsense.

Never mind.
